Traditional Chiang Khong tangerine breed with its uniqueness, inherited from generation to generation more than 50 years in Chiang Khong, Chiang Rai,North of Thailand. According to its high mountainous terrain, the weather is quite cold in winter, summer temperatures are not very high and the rainfall in the rainy season is appropriate for growing tangerine. 

It has been planting and maintaining either modern agriculture of good agricultural practices (GAP) standard from department of agriculture for grow the best quality and taste tangerine of GAP standard. From maintenance and natural processes, the tangerine trees have adapted to the environment for years. Consequently, It is the original tangerine known as ’Chiang Khong Tangerine’, which has a unique flavor with its sweet and little sour, with golden skins eligible for the high quality tangerine and fresh tangerine is able to keep for weeks. In general, the product will be released in the market from November to January every year.
